ShortcutKey2URL is an extension for Firefox that allows you to specify key combinations that will go to your favorite site when used. Unfortunately, it doesn’t give you access to direct shortcuts. You need to use Ctrl+Q first, and the site keys after that. You can specify if you want the shortcut to open the site in the current tab or a new one. If you have too many bookmarks already, this extension might help you save some space.
