If you’re a Windows 7 user i guess you already know that this new OS offers you a wide range of possibilities to move and resize your application windows but here’s an application for older versions of Windows: WinLayout.

This application is open source and is built on top of AutoHotkey. The most amazing thing about it is that your can rearrange everything using only your numeric keypad.

The basic moves require the screen to be structured in a 3×3 grid and all you have to do is to press and hold the Win key and tap the key to send an app to a new place on the grid ( 3 = bottom right, 7 = top left, 5 = center, etc.).
