Many people around the world probably never heard a word about Santech their whole life. If you’re one of them I’ll tell you that this is not a new company but a rather old one that built a fan base in the mobile field.

Now the company is trying its luck in the laptop business by releasing on the market an anorexic 13.3-inch ultraportable. Why anorexic? Because measures less than 1 inch in thickness! Even so, under these beautiful bones it hides a powerful Intel CULV CPU and a battery that will last for up to 12 hours.

The base configuration runs on a SU3500 1.4Hz CPU, 160GB of storage space and 2GB RAM and it’s priced at €701 ($1,003) – incl. taxes. It makes you think if an Acer Aspire 3810T (€600) wouldn’t be a better choice?!
