Under the „professional” tag Panasonic released on the market the new AG-AF100 digital video camera.

This new baby boasts with Micro Four Thirds sensor and 4/3 lenses, filters and adapters. Using the AVC/ H.264 Hi Profile AVCHD codec and two SD slots supporting both SDHC and SDXC removable media the device can successfully record 1080/ 24p videos.

In addition to all that the AF100 features 48-kHz/16-bit two-channel digital audio recording, XLR inputs, USB 2.0, HDMI, HD-SDI out, time code recording, built-in stereo mic while supporting LPMC/ Dolby-AC3.

To sum up all the above, i don’t know how professional this cam really is but according to its specs it sure comes very closet on meeting this standard.
