This is a busy month for folks over at Packard Bell because after presenting us the updated imedia desktop PC line a few weeks ago, they decided to put under the knife the higher-end ixtreme desktop as well.
The exterior design is very elegant but that’s nothing compared with what lies inside of it. Both the processors (Core i7, Core 2 Quad, or AMD Phenom II X4) and the graphics (the 1GB GeForce GTS 250 included) are entirely your choice while the rest of the list is completed by up to 12 GB of DDR3 memory, up to 3TB of storage space, an optional Blu-ray combo drive and no less than 10 USB ports.
When it comes to pricing and availability I can only say that the ixtreme line will be available in UK shops starting this month with a starting price of £599 ($1,000).
