Folks over at Haier are getting ready to release on the market their first Android phone.

The H7, because this is the name of the phone, will hit the French stores a few months from now: in September, to be more precise.

Haier tried to present this phone at the CommunicAsia 2009 but unfortunately for us, back then, they only brought a non-functional device. According to some rumors, the H7 will feature a beautiful 2.8-inch touchscreen, Android 2.0 Donut, a 2MP camera, WiFi and also built-in GPS. Pretty nice!

For the time being Haier only announced the release date for the French launching and some rumors say that the handset will be priced at $150 on contract.
