500,000 books, digitized by Google in their eBook project, have been made available for free to customers that own a Sony Reader. The ebooks can be downloaded from the ebook store that Sony has set up. With this move, the Sony store has double the number of ebooks that can be found for Amazon Kindle customers.
To be honest, I was looking to buy a Sony ebook reader, because Amazon only sells the Kindle in US, but now I’m starting to consider Sony the first choice, instead of a forced second.
