There’s a war going on in the world of web-based document business and the involved parties are Google and Microsoft.
On one side there’s Google that used Google Apps to attract company after company while on the other hand there’s Microsoft riding its new web-based component to Office 2010. As if that wasn’t enough today G announced that it’s buying DocVerse.
For those of you that don’t know… DocVerse is a service that allows you to collaborate on Microsoft Office Docs. So now, with this app all Google Apps users will be able to work online with their docs.
That’s one more reason to ditch the Microsoft Office 2010.
