Everyone knows that Gmail provides excellent e-mail services but unfortunately up until now Google forgot to add some very useful features to the contact manager section. They didn’t include fields for web sites, birthdays, etc.

Today all this became history because these fields were inserted properly in our address books.

If you want to imports CSV contacts from Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail or vCard you can do it very easily and safe because the additional information will be correctly copied. The standalone contact manager in Google had these features for quite some time but Gmail didn’t.

The only problem will be for those of you that already imported thousand contacts from their Outlook Address book because they’ll have to delete everything and do the entire procedure all over again.
