</script></p><p align="justify">Gigabyte S1081 is a Windows 7 <a href="http://www.tabletpctalks.com/" target='_blank' >tablet</a> that was just announced. It’s a high performance model, with a display of 10.1 inches, which uses the latest Atom Cedar Trail platform from Intel, said to be both energy efficient and powerful. There will be two models offered of the Gigabyte S1081, one with an SSD and the other with a 500GB HDD. Besides the display which will be a multi-touch capacitive model, you also get an optical trackpad, which allows for extra precision. Other specs include Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, a webcam of 1.3MP, VGA port, HDMI and Ethernet.</p>

</script></p><p align="justify">It appears that rumors are saying that Lenovo and Acer are preparing to release tablets with Windows 8 on them in 2012. These rumors come from component suppliers based in Asia, according to <a href="http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20120102PD208.html" target="_blank">DigiTimes</a>. It appears that these manufacturers are working on new tablets with this ON on them and with Clover Trail chipsets from Intel.</p>
<p align="justify">This chipset is seen as PC vendors as a better option for mobile devices, thanks to its power consumption and performance. The launch date for the tablets from Acer and Lenovo seems to be during the third trimester, according to DigiTimes.</p>

<p>This new and very sexy <a href="http://www.tabletpctalks.com/" target='_blank' >tablet</a> PC has not yet been announced on the market but there’s a rumor going around saying that this will happen in the nearest future. Until then we present you the specs. </p>
<p>The 11.6-inch EC18T will boast with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a Mobile Intel GS45 Express graphics chipset, up to 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM while running on the new Windows 7 Home Premium /Basic. </p>
<p>As I said before this is no official information so in conclusion there are no numbers and dates for this baby but as soon as they’ll become public you’ll know. </p>

<p>This miniPC features a 9-inch screen, it measures only 0.63 inches in thickness and weights 22.29 ounces. Under this delicate shell it hides a Z515 Intel processor, Bluetooth 2.1 and 802.11b/g connectivity while running on Microsoft Windows 7 OS. </p>
<p>In addition to all that this full touchscreen from ARCHOS boasts with a built-in virtual keyboard, Microsoft Office, Radio, Web TV, antivirus protection, video conferencing, etc. </p>
<p>According to the manufacturer, the PC tablet will be released on the market this fall but the price is yet to be determined. </p>
