The most perfect Linux-based computer is finally here, guns blazing.

Marvel Plug Computer is a very sexy machine that sports a 2GHz Armada 300 processor. Many have hoped that the heart of this machine will beat in the rhythm of Armada 610 but that wasn’t the case just yet so the 300 CPU will have to take all the pressure.

Beside that the 3.0 also sports Bluetooth and WiFi while running on Linux 2.6.

When it comes to pricing the only reference point we have is the original Sheeva Plug that is currently being sold for $99.

Look for this one to hit North America on August 11th, although folks in Japan and China can grab one right one for a starting price of $629.

Dell has already built a very strong name on the PC market with the Vostro line but this line lacked an all-in-one model. Today, the first Vostro AIO is getting ready to see the light of day.

As you can see from the picture below, the machine is a squarer brother of the Studio One 19 home PC and features a 19-inch screen, the choice of Core 2 Duo or Pentium dual-core CPUs, 160GB of storage space and 2GB of RAM.

Even if the package comprises the classic built-in kickstand you can meci this unit to an optional VESA mount and free up more space on your desk.

The Vostro All In One is already available on the Japanese and Chinese market for $629 but if you’re living in North America you’ll have to wait ‘till August 11th because only then the machine will travel to US.

Packard Bell’s ixtreme desktop PC line hides great musles under an elegant case.

This is a busy month for folks over at Packard Bell because after presenting us the updated imedia desktop PC line a few weeks ago, they decided to put under the knife the higher-end ixtreme desktop as well.

The exterior design is very elegant but that’s nothing compared with what lies inside of it. Both the processors (Core i7, Core 2 Quad, or AMD Phenom II X4) and the graphics (the 1GB GeForce GTS 250 included) are entirely your choice while the rest of the list is completed by up to 12 GB of DDR3 memory, up to 3TB of storage space, an optional Blu-ray combo drive and no less than 10 USB ports.

When it comes to pricing and availability I can only say that the ixtreme line will be available in UK shops starting this month with a starting price of £599 ($1,000).
