Time has come for the new AVG 9 to show its face into the world. As we are already used all 2009 / 2010 suites are focused on low consume of system resources, high performance and high speed.

The installation process has been simplified. Now you’ll only need 11 clicks to get to the end… instead of 22.

According to Grisoft, the scanning speeds have been increased by 50% while the Windows boot lag has been reduced by 15%. Also the firewall is a little smarter than before and it’s less intrusive.

On the AVG web site you can find all paid versions with the mention that the free one will be available to the general public in 10 days.
